I bought each boy a Star Wars backpack for Christmas – one of Darth Vader and the other of Yoda. When I saw the Yoda pack, I immediately envisioned Jeremy role-playing the Dagobah System scenes with Luke and Yoda in the Empire Strikes Back, specifically this part:

Fast forward to yesterday. I needed to accomplish a 10-mile run, and Jeremy wanted to tag along on his bike. On our previous rides/runs, we’d remarked that parts of the Greenway resemble the swampy forests of the Dagobah System.  So guess what he brought along?

Just so you know, he finished the 10 miles with only a little bit of energy left. Completing the last mile was questionable! I was proud of my little Jedi for finishing with me, and every time he passed by I grinned at the sight of Yoda. It was exactly how I thought it would be.
