1. I covered our mantelpiece artwork with silver wrapping paper that I already had and created a “Be of Good Cheer” bunting with vintage holiday scrapbook paper ($3.99 from Hobby Lobby). The faux bow is made from coffee filters. Total cost: $3.99
2. We collected sticks from the backyard and spray-painted them silver with leftover paint from Halloween. We snapped them and placed them in clear holiday glasses my mother-in-law sent me last year. Total cost: Free
