On another note, I would be remiss not to mention that one year ago today we lost Chuck’s mother to brain cancer. In honor of her love of holiday tradition, we made Sloppy Joes for dinner last night. Bill said he doesn’t remember a Halloween when they didn’t eat Sloppy Joes. At Chuck’s suggestion, I was happy to make them and declare them an annual part of our Halloween celebration.
