That song from “The Nightmare Before Christmas” has been stuck in my head for the last week, ever since I picked up my very first Halloween decoration of the season at Hobby Lobby over the weekend. I spent a whopping two bucks on this. In honor of Salem, of course:
He seems proud of it.
The boys are already thinking about the holiday and what costumes they’d each like. Jeremy’s thinking of a Star Wars character (no surprise there), while Jackson’s choice changes daily and even hourly, from Olivia the Pig and Milli from Team Umizoomi to Spiderman and Luke Skywalker. With six weeks to consider our options, I’m already checking websites for sales and ideas.
It never fails that whenever I start thinking about dressing up the boys for Halloween I remember Jackson’s first – when he was a Jack Rabbit. The adorable factor was at an all-time high.
