Our impromptu Ugly Sweater party last Friday resulted in Chuck and me making our own outfits. The thrift stores were fresh out and we certainly weren’t going to buy them new. (Because you know you can find $90 ugly sweaters in Dillards right now.)
Anyhoo, we took a couple of old sweatshirts and applied puff paint and foam cut-outs. As a result, our sweaters weren’t necessarily ugly, but they were original.
Chuck cut the neckline of mine to mimic Jennifer Beals’ Flashdance sweater, so the words are a nod to the 80s. (Cue Modern English.) I rocked it.

It was fun. And that was the point, right?
