I typically like to have the holiday decorations up for as long as possible, starting at Thanksgiving and going into New Years, but for some reason this season I’m over it. I’ve already packed a few things away, which I don’t think I’ve ever done before. Since our tree is so big and so beautiful that I might let it linger until the weekend. After all, it will take massive efforts to take it all down and I’m not quite ready to pull out the ladder again.
So I told the boys this morning to enjoy the tree while they can.
