I’ll be the first to tell a young woman – put your money into the marriage instead of the wedding, cause the wedding lasts five minutes and the marriage lasts for darn near eternity (or longer). I try not to scare the Young and Engaged, but it’s inevitable. I often come off anti-wedding and that’s just not entirely true. I very much love and cherish wedding cake.
But as women, we are genetically predisposed to CARE DEEPLY about weddings – to desire weddings and to go to great lengths and expense to create the “perfect” wedding. Granted, there is something magical about them, something fantastical and surreal, and a girl starts daydreaming about her own wedding about two seconds after watching Cinderella for the first time. Fathers of daughters beware.
So that brings me to this wedding video. You’ll marvel at the assumed expense of the occasion based on the decor, the gown and the impeccability of the video itself. Heck, this couple got married in FRANCE for Pete’s sake. She’s a supermodel and he’s a guy who’s marrying a supermodel in FRANCE. (Actually, he’s a British interior designer.) When you aren’t French but you choose to get married in FRANCE, I’m going to assume you have a lot of money.

Coco Rocha and James Conran got married in July. To me, their video represents what every little girl dreams of.
