Quick Vacay in Santa Fe

We knew that sitting around the house wasn’t going to be the best use of our time, so when the decision was made for Chuck’s family to travel here for Christmas we knew going to Santa Fe was a must. We only spent two days there but a lot was accomplished in a short amount of time. Below are a snippet of pictures from Tuesday evening when we arrived and Wednesday afternoon after our skiing debacle. Dinner was at the Blue Corn Cafe and our snow shenanigans occurred in the Big Tesuque National Park.

The real kicker is that while we had to drive four hours to play in the snow, more than a foot of white powder fell in east Tennessee the week of Christmas. From what I understand, there hasn’t been a white Christmas in Chattanooga in four or five decades. Just figures!
