Jackson has done very well in first grade. Having already completed much of his work, he’s coasting through this last month reading Doctor Dolittle and wrapping up lessons online. Last year he read Charlotte’s Web and I was so impressed with how well he could read the story and report what was happening with the characters. Granted, he still prefers Marvel books, so I consider it a success to have him read something else.
